Turmeric Tonic

I have been on a mission the last few weeks to find out why my hormones seem to be out of whack! Do any of my lady followers have the same issue?! My main concern these days is my breast soreness….It lasts all month long and is starting to really bother me. My periods also seem to be a bit irregular. I found Melissa Ramos, an awesome Nutritionist online, who is running the blog Sexy Food Therapy. She has lots of funny youtube videos on women’s health and you should definitely check her out. I borrowed the recipe for this powerful drink from her. You just dink one ounce (shot glass) her day. It’s filled with healing properties for your liver and gut and has anti-inflammatory benefits as well. Melissa recommends the drink for anyone, but suggests it might help women with PCOS. I just made a batch and I feel healthier already! 😉 I will keep you posted on my health issues and let you know if I find any other natural remedies.

Turmeric Tonic Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups water
  • 1 tbs raw honey
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 7 tbs raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 organic lemon, juiced
  • 5 tbs cold soluble grass fed gelatin
  • pinch fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 oz grated fresh ginger
Instructions
  1. In a mason jar mix all ingredients together and shake well.
  2. Take 1 oz per day.
  3. Store in the fridge.
